These are three simple home workouts that you can perform each week. They should take around 20 minutes per session – that’s only an hour a week! Everyone can spare an hour a week – right?

Tips to get the most out of your workouts

  1. Aim to use the right amount of intensity for your fitness level. If you’re just going through the motions your body will not need to adapt.
  2. Aim to progress as you go along. You can progress in a number of ways, such as: more reps, using a heavier weight, moving a bit faster, taking less rest. You can read more about progressive overload here.
  3. Be sure to warm up before starting and take 5 minutes to cool down and stretch afterwards.
